We believe people deserve to know what they’re taking and where it comes from. This page explains how our mushroom tinctures are made, what we track, and how we keep our process consistent from one bottle to the next.

What Transparency Means Here

Transparency, for us, means clearly explaining what goes into our tinctures, how they’re made, and what is — and is not — part of the process. We avoid vague claims, proprietary language, and marketing shortcuts so customers can make informed decisions based on real information.

What We Grow In-House

All of the mushrooms used in our tinctures are grown and harvested by us in our own controlled environment.

This allows us to manage:

• species selection
• growing conditions
• harvest timing
• handling and processing

​

We do not purchase dried mushrooms, powders, or extracts from outside suppliers. The only ingredient we source externally is certified organic sugar-cane alcohol, which we use as the solvent in our tinctures.

Dual Extraction: Why We Use Alcohol and Water

Functional mushrooms contain different compounds that extract best in different solvents. That’s why we use a two-phase extraction process.

​

First, the mushrooms are extracted in alcohol to pull alcohol-soluble compounds. Then they are extracted in water to pull water-soluble compounds. These extracts are combined and adjusted into a finished tincture designed for consistency, stability, and broad compound coverage.

This approach is widely used in functional mushroom extraction because it captures a wider range of compounds than single-solvent methods.

Alcohol Content (ABV) Transparency

We track alcohol content (ABV) because it affects shelf stability, extraction performance, and user experience. Alcohol is not just a solvent — it is what keeps a tincture shelf-stable over time.

Being clear about ABV allows customers to understand what they are taking and allows us to keep our process consistent.

​

Extraction Ratio and Consistency

We focus on producing tinctures with a meaningful extraction ratio and a repeatable process. Rather than vague strength claims, we prioritize consistent inputs, consistent methods, and consistent outcomes.

Our goal is simple: a tincture that is made the same way each time and labeled clearly enough that you don’t have to guess what you’re buying.

Ingredients and Sourcing

Every tincture contains:

• mushrooms grown and harvested by us
• certified organic sugar-cane alcohol
• purified water

​

We do not use pre-made extracts, powders, fillers, or flavorings.

​

Extraction Records

We keep internal extraction records so we can trace each run and maintain consistency over time. These records typically include extraction timing, processing notes, and formulation targets.
