FAQs
Have you heard about mushrooms as medicine?
A powerful health supplement made from mushrooms using both alcohol and hot water extraction.
Alcohol extracts essential compounds like triterpenes and sterols for immune support, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant benefits.
Most manufacturers use food-grade ethanol made from corn or wheat. It is inexpensive and widely available for mass production. Because it is made from corn and/or wheat, it is harder for your body to process. Our bodies can not digest corn, and wheat is a major source of inflammation. Because we understand that what goes into your body can affect your body...to us, quality matters. We use certified organic cane alcohol made from sugar cane.
We want to ensure that your tincture choice is free from harmful chemicals, and that it is of a superior quality.
Our tinctures can be added to water, you favorite cool liquid or taken directly under the tongue. Recommended daily dosage is 2 dropper fulls [2 ml]
Yes, all our tinctures are made with organically grown mushrooms and certified organic cane alcohol, made from sugar cane.
Orders are shipped the same day. Delivery times vary based on your location and chosen shipping method.
Our organically grown mushroom undergo an 8 week extraction process to ensure all of the available bio-nutrients and compounds are made available.
Absolutely not. We only use fresh, organic, whole fruiting body. There are no fillers, substrate or mycelium.
Yes. We have an on-sight laboratory that tests and ensures quality and potency.
Yes you can. The only exception being Reishi Mushroom Tincture, due to it’s ability to improve sleep quality.
The effects of our mushroom tinctures can vary depending on the individual, and consistent use.
No. Your tincture may be stored at room temperature. Keep it where you will be reminded to take it consistently.
We recommend checking with your pediatrician before administering any of our tinctures to your child.
We recommend checking with your doctor before consuming any of our tinctures.
A simple way to think about it:
Extract = the general category (something has been extracted from the mushroom)
Tincture = a liquid extract that uses alcohol as part of the extraction
So the more important question isn’t the label — it’s how it was extracted.
Ours are dual-extracted mushroom tinctures (also accurately described as dual-extracted liquid mushroom extracts).
That means we use a two-step extraction process and blend the results into one finished formula.
Dual extracted means we extract the mushrooms in two steps:
Alcohol extraction
Hot water extraction
Then we combine them into one finished liquid. This approach is used because different mushroom compounds dissolve better in different solvents.
Many medicinal mushrooms contain a mix of compounds, and not all of them extract well in alcohol alone. Dual extraction is used to capture a broader range of naturally occurring mushroom compounds by extracting both:
Alcohol-soluble constituents
Water-soluble constituents
Not automatically. “Strong” depends on factors like:
the amount of mushroom used
extraction ratios
time and temperature
the quality of the raw mushroom
how the final formula is blended
Dual extraction is about range and completeness — not just a vague claim of “more potent.”
Because there isn’t one single universal standard for how every brand uses these terms. Some companies reserve “tincture” for alcohol-only products, while others use “tincture” to describe any alcohol-based liquid extract (including dual-extracted formulas).
What matters most is whether the brand clearly explains how the product is made.
No. As a tincture, it contains alcohol. That's just chemistry. Even though we use hot water in the dual extraction process, the finished product still includes alcohol as part of the final blend.
Look for clarity on:
whether it is single-extracted (alcohol-only or water-only) or dual-extracted
extraction method and process transparency
quality of the mushroom material used
whether the brand explains what you’re actually getting (not just marketing terms)
Our tinctures contain alcohol as part of the extraction and preservation process. The alcohol percentage (ABV) is exactly 30%.
If taken as recommended, {2 mL / daily} your bottle will last 30 days.
Yes, shake it. A little sediment is normal in full-spectrum mushroom extracts. Natural compounds can settle over time, especially in small-batch products. Give the bottle a good shake before each use.
Mushrooms are natural materials, so mild variation can happen between batches. Changes in harvest timing and mushroom characteristics can slightly affect flavor and color. That variation is normal and does not mean the product is lower quality.
Store your tincture in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Refrigeration is not required. Because this is alcohol-based, it is shelf-stable when stored properly. For best results, use by the date on the label.
It depends on the mushroom and your personal routine. Many people take their tincture in the morning to keep it consistent day to day, while others prefer evening if they are building it into a nighttime routine. If you are unsure, start with morning so you can notice how you feel during the day.
If you take prescription medications or manage a medical condition, check with your pharmacist or healthcare professional before use. We keep our labeling straightforward, but your clinician is the right person to advise on medication interactions.
Our tinctures are made from mushrooms and extraction solvents, with no artificial ingredients. If you have severe allergies or sensitivities, please review the ingredient list on the product label and contact us before ordering so we can help you choose confidently.
